Prisoners of the Mountain

Book 4 in the “Rider” series joins Alex and Brik eighteen months after the events of the previous two Rider installments.  Life-changing events in those two books reunited Brik and Alex, with a renewed purpose and appreciation for their bond.  Now we find the two working together to solve the mystery Alex inherited when she became the Keeper.

Brik and Alex have traveled the universe, searching for the last story Alex needs to unlock the magical book left to her by Mal.  Along the way, Brik has gathered rider from countless different worlds and cultures.  They have assembled on Karemir, and their numbers continue to grow under Brik’s watchful eye.

Meanwhile, Alex continues her obsessive search for the origin planet for all riders.  Her quest is beginning to take a toll on her body and mind, but she is compelled to solve the mystery before it destroys her.   Along the way, she finds out that some mysteries are best left unsolved.
