Waking the Rider

Waking the Rider is Book 1 in the 5 part “Rider” series.  Here we meet Mal and Alex, the heads of a world-class private security firm, GSC. Actually, the firm is just the cover for what Mal, Alex and the rest of their highly specialized team do — protect the world from evil.

In reality, it’s a little more complicated than that.  They monitor portals where two or more different dimensions overlap.  Certain beings known as riders can access these portals to “ride the lines” between dimensions, traveling to different worlds or escorting others along the lines.

Not all travelers come in peace, and that’s where Mal, Alex and their team, including the Rider, come into play.   Alex and Mal have allowed the Rider to lay dormant until they needed him.  When they learn of a brutal war in another dimension, they wake the Rider to guide them on a perilous adventure.  Their ultimate goal — saving us all.  Whatever happens, Alex, Mal and the Rider will never be the same.
